DuPont Showcases DuroptixTM Products at GILE2022 with Debut of its Chinese Name “杜乐新”

DuPont highlights its DuroptixTM products, highly reliable silicone materials solutions for commercial and automotive lighting applications, Mini/Micro LED as well announces its Chinese brand name for the first time. DuPont also showcases the molded epoxy resin at the exhibition. 

 

 

(Guangzhou, August 3, 2022) - The 27th Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition (GILE2022) will be held at the China Import and Export Fair from August 3 to 6. At the exhibition, DuPont highlights Duroptix™, its highly reliable silicone materials solutions for commercial and automotive lighting applications, as well as silicone materials solutions for Mini LED and Micro LED array packaging.  DuPont also announces the Chinese name of DuroptixTM brand (“杜乐新”) for the first time at the exhibition, which reflects the brand’s commitment to and pursuit of excellence in innovative lighting application products. In addition, DuPont showcases the molded epoxy resin materials for encapsulation of direct view display Mini LED at the exhibition. 

As advanced image technologies continue to emerge, more and more diversified innovative applications are being developed. In particular, Mini LED backlight has significantly improved the performance of LCD technology to a level comparable to that of OLED. DuPont LED encapsulants provide solutions for the latest Mini LED designs, future Micro LED displays and OLED displays, delivering better color quality, improved durability, and lower power consumption for users in the display industry. 

 

Ji Chunyong, Greater China Sales Manager, DuPont LED Silicone Business, says at the exhibition that DuPont mainly offers two innovative solutions suitable for the optical designs of Mini LED backlight system to support the future development of Mini LED: one is film encapsulant, which enables mass packaging through lamination process; and the other is shape-forming liquid optical silicone encapsulant for Mini LED, which features high transmittance, high shape-forming consistency, and stability, as well as compatibility with high-speed dispensing or jetting equipment. 

 

Originating from DuPont’s silicone system research, development, process, and production capability, DuroptixTM products are a continuation by DuPont to develop new technologies and products in recent years to support and upgrade energy-efficient production processes, improve LED durability, efficiency, and further increase the utilization rate of energy-efficient LED. 

 

DuPont officially announces the Chinese name of Duroptix™,“杜乐新”, at the exhibition. The announcement of the new Chinese name of the brand also reflects the confidence of DuPont Advanced Image Technologies in further expanding its business in the Chinese market.”
