The plastics industry is one of the most important dynamo stones of Turkish economy. The plastics industry gained widespread attention in 2017, reaching higher values, demonstrating that it achieved perfection in 2016 with a production value of $ 35 billion.
Pagev has done a research that shows; "While the levels in the same period of 2016 were maintained, 4.7 million tons and 17.7 billion dollars worth of plastic products were produced. If the same trend continues, it is expected that production will increase by 9.4 million tons and 35.5 billion dollars at the end of 2017. Exports of plastic products we export increased by 1.8 percent in the amount of exports by the end of June reached 798 thousand tons, worth 2 billion 86 million dollars." Research shows that; The Turkish plastics industry continues to develop by gaining rapid growth momentum over the years and increasing this momentum every year.
