PLASTINDIA 2018, the most awaited exhibition in the Plastics Industry across the globe is hosting many pioneering initiatives to offer maximum value proposition to all its exhibitors and participants. A unique Business-2-Business networking opportunity called‘Meet-2-Trade: The Reverse Buyer Seller Meet’ (RBSM)is being organised by Plastindia Foundation in association with one of its founder member ‘Plexcouncil’

The objective of‘Meet-2-Trade’is to invite a select 600 international buyers to connect and transact with the exhibitors. This initiative will offer a win-win proposition to both and create a strong platform for them to strike business alliances and create long term associations for continued trade.

The Ministry of Commerce has already extended its support by offering a grant to PLASTINDIA 2018 and Plexcouncil to promote, invite and facilitate this initiative. Genuine buyers can apply to this ‘hosted buyer programme’ either online through the website or any of the offline promotional activities undertaken by PLASTINDIA 2018.

Selection criteria & application process:

· Every applicant needs to fill up the mandatory details in the online application form and upload & submit the required documents as specified

· ONLY international buyers can apply to this programme

· Indian passport holders residing in other countries are not eligible

· ONLY one representative is allowed per company

· Our recommendation is that this representative nominee must be the decision maker

· The screening committee appointed by the Meet-2-Trade & RBSM management will scan each application and ONLY the selected applicants will be informed and will be sent a VISA invitation letter

Special benefits for selected Hosted Buyers:

· Travel Reimbursement:

> Buyers from Latin America & Central America (Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Uruguay, Argentina) are entitled to a reimbursement of return airfare up to USD 1000 or actual cost of return economy class air ticket from their destination of origin to Ahmedabad whichever is lower.

> Buyers from West Asia(UAE, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Egypt, Oman) Africa ( Nigeria, South Africa, Kenya, Tanzania, Algeria, Ghana, Uganda, Ethiopia), CIS Countries( Russia, Georgia, Ukraine, Belarus, Uzbekistan), ASEAN 2 Countries (Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Myanmar), Australia and New Zealand are entitled to a reimbursement of airfare upto USD 650 or cost of actual air ticket from their destination of origin to Ahmedabad, whichever is lower.

> Buyers from SAARC Countries (Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh) and General Countries (USA, Germany, Italy, UK) are entitled to a reimbursement of airfare up to USD 650 or cost of actual air ticket from their destination of origin to Ahmedabad, whichever is lower.

NOTE: The above will be paid in accordance to the norms and guidelines laid out by the Ministry of Commerce, Govt. Of India and the RBSM Authorities. To claim the reimbursement, the hosted buyer is requested to submit all necessary documents which will be notified at time of approval of application of the hosted buyer.
