How did the exhibitors think of Plastimagan 2017 and Mexico market?

Exhibition Situation

2017 The 21st Plastimagen, held in Mexico City from 7th Nov. to 10th Nov. Over 870 manufacturers from 25 countries attended this fair show, with exhibits including the Plastic & Rubber Industry Exhibition, Mold making companies, Automation Industry and Auto Parts Processing companies.

[Mexico Market]
Mexico is a leading economy in Central and South America. Bordering the United States, and included in the North American Free Trade Area to obtain a zero-tariff policy has also had a significant impact and on Mexico's trade development. Even with Trump's protectionism strategy against Mexico, the government still implements a series of foreign trade reward programs and has relaxed the import regulations for various products. Compared with the previous years, import barriers and other barriers have been drastically reduced. Coupled with being the 11th largest in terms of population in the world, this huge domestic market can still support the development of economic activities. Many foreign investors see Mexico as the best base for advancing into the Latin American market.

【Exhibition extension, charm diminished】
Mexico, the premier trading nation of Central and South America, has been challenged after a 7.0-magnitude earthquake and Mr Trump's post-July earthquake, but Plastimagen this year seems unaffected, instead, it seems better and better. PRM have met with many customers and been part of many deals in Mexico However, because of the earthquake, the government of the Republic of Mexico changed the special regulations towards machine height, giving problems to certain manufacturers that brought machinery. This time the exhibition hall has been expanded to three halls with all of hall E taken by Chinese manufacturers.
