Need a Machine Maker? Just Ask PRM

PRM-Taiwan has an AI assistant built into the site. Describe what you're sourcing in plain words, and Ask PRM points you to suppliers on PRM, each with a link to its company page.

A supplier shortlist usually starts with too many open tabs. You search a machine type, click through one company page after another, and try to work out who actually makes what you need.

Ask PRM is built to shorten that first step: you ask the way you'd ask a colleague, and it does the narrowing.

How it works

  1. Open it. On the PRM-Taiwan homepage, click Ask PRM in the bottom-left corner.
  2. Ask in plain words. There are no filters to set and no keywords to guess. Describe the machine, the product you make, or the process you're setting up.
  3. Read the recommendations. Ask PRM lists suppliers on PRM that match your question, usually with a short note on what each one makes.
  4. Follow up. Below most answers you'll find suggested follow-up questions. Click one to narrow the search or move on to a related machine.
  5. Visit the supplier. Each recommended supplier comes with a Visit Page link that opens its company page on PRM in a new tab.

Ask PRM helps you decide who to talk to. Prices, lead times and detailed specifications depend on your project, so get them from the supplier directly. Open the company page from the answer and send your inquiry there.

One real question, start to finish

We put this question to Ask PRM ourselves: "Which companies make PET preform molds?"

It came back with three mold makers on PRM, a line on each company's specialties, and a few suggested follow-ups to keep going. The 55-second walkthrough below shows the whole exchange, from typing the question to opening a company page.

Ask in your language

PRM-Taiwan is published in several languages, and Ask PRM is on every language version. It answers in the language of the site you're on: open it on our Spanish site and the reply comes back in Spanish. If you want answers in your own language, start from that language version of the site.

Where Ask PRM fits

We've said it in these pages before: buyers build their shortlist long before they visit a booth, from websites, videos and spec sheets. PRM has spent years profiling plastics, rubber and machinery makers in English to make that shortlist easier to build.

Ask PRM is a faster way into the same company pages. Open it anytime at prm-taiwan.com and bring it your next sourcing question.
